Keep Your Board Beautiful for Years
Pre-finished with mineral oil and beeswax — ready to use. Proper ongoing care extends its life for decades.
Teak’s natural oils and tight grain make it water-resistant, durable, gentle on knives, and naturally resistant to bacteria. At TeakHaus, we use FSC®-certified teak from responsibly managed plantations to ensure lasting quality and environmental sustainability.
Regular oiling preserves teak’s natural moisture balance, preventing cracks and warping while extending the life of your board. Apply TeakHaus oil or food-grade mineral oil two to three times per month for daily use, or monthly for occasional use, ensuring the board is clean and completely dry before application.
Clean promptly with warm water and mild soap, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely to prevent warping. Never soak or leave your board in standing water, and store it upright or in a well-ventilated area to allow proper air circulation.
Never place your board in the dishwasher, microwave, oven, or soak it in water, as heat and excess moisture can cause warping and cracking. Avoid harsh chemicals, direct sunlight, and cooking oils—always use food-grade mineral oil to protect the wood.
