1. Coverage:
Teakhaus is proud to offer a comprehensive 1-Year Warranty that covers severe damages from defects occurring within the first 12 months of use. This warranty ensures a free-of-charge replacement for eligible products, demonstrating our commitment to providing reliable and durable items to our valued customers.
2. Covered Products:
We stand behind all cutting and serving boards purchased on teakhaus.com.
Exclusions
The following products are not included in the 1-year warranty:
- Anfora Products: Ceramic products from our partner Anfora are not covered.
- The Artery Project: This exclusive product line from our Creative Lab is excluded from same-product replacements due to limited production. Please contact our Customer Care team to review your specific case.
- Products purchased out of teakhaus.com, such as retail stores, other e-commerce, marketplaces, or Amazon.
In case your label mentions Warranty coverage via teakhaus.com, please reach out our Customer Care team at the Chat Box visible in this page or via customercare@teakhaus.com.
3. Replacement Process:
If your item qualifies for a replacement:
- A receipt, order number, or proof of purchase will be required.
- You will need to provide visual proof of the damaged product.
- Fill out the Warranty Claim form on our website by cliking here.
Please allow 5 - 10 business days for our Customer Care team to respond, assign a ticket number, and provide a resolution along with the next steps via email.
If the purchased item is no longer available, we will likely replace it with a product of comparable features.
4. Warranty Limitations:
The following issues are not covered under the warranty:
- Damage due to exposing the cutting board to extreme temperatures or open flames.
- Damage due to intentional or accidental acts.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Splitting or cracking due to inadequate oiling. Refer to our Care & Maintenance Information.
- Warping or cracking due to storing in excessively damp or dry environments, or putting the cutting board into the dishwasher.
- Mold due to storing in an excessively humid environment.
- Stains and odors from regular use.
- Holes and similar damages due to blows or rough treatment of the product.
