READY TO USE: Our boards are pre-oiled and ready to use! Before first use, wash, rinse, and dry with a kitchen towel. We use a mixture of mineral oil and natural beeswax to coat. However, we recommend you apply Teakhaus oil or food grade mineral oil regularly at least two or three times a month to maintain your board in perfect condition!

So nice and light and pretty, great addition to my kitchen needs.
I purchased 4 small Essential Cutting boards for myself and my adult kids. After using it once to cut vegetables and then wash in warm soapy water it was very rough to the touch. I also bought a larger board with the juice canal. The first time I used it I pulled salmon off of the grill onto the board. After about 30 min I cleaned it. There were deep oil stains all over it and it was extremely rough to the touch. I received several emails from Teakhaus after my purchase. I replied and sent an email to them on 7.14.26 with my concerns and never heard back from them. I also received requests for reviews and after replying about my concerns (about a month ago), never heard back from them either. I will not ever purchase from them again. I can buy a better quality cutting board elsewhere.
Beautiful! Exactly what i needed. A larger size for bigger jobs but still only 1/2” yhick so sturdy but light weight!!!

Decent cutting board but it was rough and had burrs so I had to sand it with 220 and refinish it. Now it seems good.

Fantastic product I look forward to prepping on for years to come. Season it properly before first use with a good mineral oil, and regularly every few months. Take care of your tools and they will take care of you. I would give this board 10/5, leagues above anything you can purchase at a big box store.
